Teacher and Support Staff of the Year

 

Ben Bolin

Benjamin Bolin received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from
Winthrop University and Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction
from the University of Nebraska.  He has taught in Oconee County for
ten years and has been at Blue Ridge for seven years.  He is a Member
of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association and the South Carolina
Music Educators Association.  He has been married to his wife Kaleigh
for ten years and has a 4-year-old son named Elliott.  When not
teaching he enjoys hiking and exploring the beautiful state parks of
South Carolina.  He is also a member of the Clemson Astronomy Club and
enjoys exploring the night sky. Mr. Bolin was one of the four finalists for the district Teacher of the Year! Way to go Mr. Bolin!  Happy to have Ben representing Blue Ridge Elementary as our Teacher of the Year!

                                 

Sandra Bomely

Sandy Bomely was born and raised in New York State. She attended Old Dominion University where she received her BA in History. She moved 9 times around the U.S. One of her favorite homes was in the upstate, where she bought a vacation home on Lake Keowee. Sandy is a lifetime Para-Educator and library clerk. She is currently employed at Blue Ridge Elementary as Family Liaison/Volunteer  Coordinator. Sandy enjoys visiting her large family in NY and Florida, as well as playing golf and pickleball. The current love of her life is Bo, her year-old mini Goldendoodle. Happy to have Sandy representing Blue Ridge Elementary as our Support Staff of the Year!
